We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves the hunt: who gets a thrill from turning a cold company into a signed partner, and an even bigger thrill from watching that partnership turn into a life-changing internship for a student who’s just landed in a new country.
As Internship Placement Manager, you co-own placement and business development across Madrid and Barcelona, working alongside Absolute Internship’s existing teams in both cities. At its heart, this is a placement role: every company you sign exists to give a student a great internship experience, and you’ll see that through from first handshake to first day on the job.
Your core objective is to grow the employer network further across both cities—researching companies, picking up the phone, pitching cold, and converting interest into lasting partnerships that bring ambitious international students into great internships. While based in Madrid,
your portfolio spans both cities, and you will work closely with our established Barcelona team during peak season. From December to May, a Placement Coordinator will support you with administration and interview scheduling so your primary focus remains on new business drive and relationship management.
