AI Engineer - LLM Fine-Tuning (Azure | Contract)

Location: Remote (Valencia preferred / Hybrid)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced AI Engineer to lead the fine-tuning of open-source LLMs on Azure using both Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) and Reinforcement Fine-Tuning (RFT). You'll own the full lifecycle from data preparation through training, evaluation, deployment, and MLOps.

Key Skills
- 5+ years' software engineering experience
- 2+ years' hands-on LLM fine-tuning experience
- Strong Python & PyTorch
- Hugging Face (Transformers, TRL, PEFT, Datasets, Accelerate)
- LoRA/QLoRA, bitsandbytes, SFT & RFT
- Azure Machine Learning & Azure AI Foundry
- Experience deploying and evaluating fine-tuned LLMs

Nice to Have
- DeepSpeed & distributed training
- vLLM, Ollama, llama.cpp
- Azure OpenAI Fine-Tuning API
- RAG / GraphRAG
- Terraform or Bicep
- Responsible AI & Azure cost optimisation
