In this role, you take global ownership of pitch bearings in wind turbines and ensure their technical performance across the full lifecycle. You operate at the interface of design, validation, and operation, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers. Your work directly contributes to the reliability and safety of key wind turbine components.

YOUR TASKS
- You act as general component owner for pitch bearings, ensuring end-to-end technical oversight from design through operation
- You define and maintain technical specifications for pitch bearings based on operational requirements and industry standards
- You lead the design and development of rolling bearings in close collaboration with suppliers and internal engineering teams
- You plan and execute validation activities, including laboratory testing, field validation, and certification documentation
- You manage requirements and interfaces within the pitch system and the overall wind turbine context
- You perform load assessments and review and optimize FEM calculations for pitch bearings




- You contribute to DFMEA processes and drive continuous improvement activities in the field of pitch bearings

YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- More than 8 years of experience in the wind industry as a Pitch Bearing Engineer or similar role
- Strong expertise in rolling bearings and tribology, ideally in wind energy applications
- Solid knowledge of wind turbine loads, pitch systems, and lubrication concepts
- Experience with DFMEA, validation processes, and relevant certification standards
- Proficiency in FEM analysis and evaluation of structural calculations
- Professional level of English, both written and spoken, Spanish or German are a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally
