The Role
- Build and lead operations and development teams for high-availability AWS services.
- Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) in 2025.
- Collaborate with general AWS teams and influence service evolution.
- Enhance day-to-day operations, ensuring availability, reliability, and performance.
- Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents.
- Deliver scalable services for EU customers.
What You'll Need
- EU member state nationality and residency in the EU.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience.
- Knowledge or experience in scripting (Bash, Python, or Ruby) or software development (Java, TypeScript).
- Strong understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with 24x7 high-availability, distributed software applications.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
