JOB SUMMARY:

The Principal Solution Architect leads a virtual team of product engineers,
design engineers, system engineers and FAEs to develop best in class solutions
for a integral enterprise customer base. The solutions include integrated systems
that scale into large scale AI/HPC clusters, Scale-out Storage clusters, Public
Cloud Infrastructures, etc. The role provides support to large and complex
projects for global enterprises, customers and cloud service providers.





This role will be based on our headquarters located in the San Jose, CA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Principal Solution Architect is responsible for providing key knowledge and
technical knowhow in developing AI data center solutions that help SMC improve
sales revenue and profit margin. The role is responsible for advancing and
maintaining SMC’s leadership in the industry.

1. Pre-sales support for solution engineering

* Plays a leadership role in pre-sales activities that service high-profile AI
customers, provide guidance, insight for application analysis, architectural
design, proof of concept testing, solution validation and optimization. Work
with sales to meet customers and provide leadership in pre-sales technical
support and solution consulting. The job duty also includes working with
other product groups and leading the effort to design the best solution and
proposal for customer RFPs/RFQs.
