Responsibilities
SUSTAINABILITY & ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE
- Design and lead sustainability projects focused on energy efficiency, water reduction, and waste minimization, tracking progress through Unilever’s general reporting system.
- Monitor environmental KPIs and emissions (air, water, noise, soil), analyze data, and present insights and improvement opportunities to management.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and market solutions to proactively identify and implement sustainability improvements.




- Manage effluent treatment plant operations — ensuring performance, safety, and compliance at all times.

SAFETY, HEALTH & COMPLIANCE
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental and safety legislation and Unilever’s internal standards, maintaining rigorous HSE documentation.
- Lead risk assessments and incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Coordinate audits, regulatory inspections, and relationships with authorities, ensuring all accreditations and documentation are up to date.
- Maintain an active presence on the shop floor to proactively detect, assess, and eliminate risks before they escalate.

TRAINING & ENVIRONMENTAL CULTURE
- Develop and deliver environmental and safety training programs for all plant employees.
- Drive environmental awareness across teams — promoting best practices in waste segregation, hazardous material hand
