In this role you lead the Mobile Engineering team responsible for building next‑generation mobile apps for Dow Jones brands. You will guide delivery across the software lifecycle, balance scope with timelines, and coach engineers for growth. You’ll influence the product roadmap through technical leadership and hands‑on problem solving, collaborating with product teams and newsroom partners. This hybrid role blends technical impact with people leadership in a fast‑paced, media‑tech environment, offering opportunities to shape mobile experiences at scale.

Responsabilidades
• +7 years of experience in iOS and/or Android native mobile development
• At least 1 year of experience managing mobile engineering teams
• Hands‑on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android, or Swift and SwiftUI for iOS
• Proficiency in data structures, system design, design patterns, API design; familiarity with MVP/MVVM, declarative UI, Git, DevOps
• Full‑stack background is xqbhyrx highly desirable with knowledge of cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase a plus
• Strong ability to drive technical decisions, manage project scope, and collaborate with product teams
• Passion for news; journalism background is advantageous
