In this role you will lead data science initiatives within Gartner’s Integral Product Management Data Science team, building AI-powered chatbots and intelligent systems to enhance the client journey. You will collaborate across engineering, product, and business leadership to deliver scalable, high-value AI capabilities and drive adoption. You’ll stay ahead of AI/ML advances, mentor juniors, and shape the long-term AI strategy and roadmaps. This is a hands-on, high-impact position at the intersection of data science and enterprise software.

• Architect and build AI-powered chatbot systems delivering personalized client experiences at scale
• Design and implement tools powering conversational AI (search, recommendations, content retrieval)
• Design and implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers for seamless AI-agent integration
• Develop user profiling and personalization models for tailored chatbot experiences
• Ensure high-quality data science solutions (accuracy, coverage, scalability, stability, adoption)
• Own algorithms with documentation and code reusability; drive enhancements based on business needs
• Leverage internal and external data to understand client priorities and provide targeted support
• Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term vision, strategy, and roadmaps
• Pitch ideas and influence executive stakeholders with strong business value propositions
• Stay current with AI/ML advances (LLMs, conversational AI, agentic systems)




• Collaborate with engineering/product teams to launch MVPs and iterate quickly
• Independently plan and drive complex data science projects delivering measurable value
• Mentor junior data scientists in chatbot development and best practices
Responsabilidades
• 6-8 years of hands-on experience building conversational AI systems, chatbots, LLM applications, or related ML/AI solutions
• Master's Degree or PhD in a quantitative field
• Strong communication skills translating analysis into actionable business strategy and influencing leadership
• Experience in: Large Language Models, Generative AI, Conversational AI, NLP, Search and Recommendation systems (nice to have)
• Prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning, model optimization; AI agent architectures and orchestration
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and building tools for AI agents
• Lean product xqbhyrx principles, SDLC, and ML lifecycle understanding
• Ability to translate business objectives into DS tasks and production-ready ML implementations
• Proficiency with Python; ML tools (scikit-learn, spacy, nltk); DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace); LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
• SQL/relational databases (Oracle); NoSQL (MongoDB, graph DB); vector stores (Pinecone, Weaviate)
• Distributed ML (Spark); Linux and shell scripting
• Cloud services (AWS or Azure ML)
• Strong collaboration across product, DS, and tech stakeholders; mentoring experience
• Bias for action and client-outcome orientation
