As a Senior Data Platform Engineer at Ebury Madrid, you will design, build, and maintain a scalable data platform that serves the entire company. You will collaborate with stakeholders to derive actionable insights and drive innovation using modern data technologies. You help enforce data governance and security while enabling cross-functional teams to leverage data for smart decisions. This role combines hands-on engineering with shaping the platform to support global growth and open source-inspired practices.

• Oversee design, development and maintenance of the data platform used across the company
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights
• Drive innovation by evaluating and adopting emerging data technologies




• Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards for data quality and security
Responsabilidades
• Proficiency in Python for data transformation and validation
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets
• Data engineering and modelling skills including slowly changing dimensions and dimensional modelling
• Graph database modelling encouraged
• xqbhyrx Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms
• Experience with GCP tools and services (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions)
• Fluency in English (Spanish a plus)
• Self-motivation and curiosity in a fast-paced environment
