We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our growing Java Development Competence Center . Reporting directly to the Tech Lead , you will be part of an experienced international team, contributing to the design and development of high-quality software solutions for leading international client.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain high-quality backend applications using Java 17/21
- Develop scalable applications based on microservices architecture .
- Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Develop applications using Spring Boot and modern Java frameworks.
- Integrate asynchronous messaging solutions using Kafka .
- Contribute to frontend developments using Angular 21 when required.
- Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead to define technical solutions, architecture and development best practices.
- Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following industry standards.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment alongside developers, QA and Business Analysts.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high quality standards.

Requirements





- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 4–6+ years of professional experience in Java software development.
- Strong expertise in Java Backend development.
- Solid experience with Java 17 .
- Strong experience with Spring Boot .
- Experience with Kafka or other event-driven messaging platforms.
- Proven experience developing microservices-based applications .
- Experience building REST APIs and working with distributed systems.
- Experience with Angular 21 is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Professional level of English.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an international team.
