In this role, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of our autonomous mobile robot software releases before they reach customers. As part of the validation team, you will be responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of validation activities across our products. You will work hands-on with robotic platforms to execute validation scenarios while identifying opportunities to improve our validation processes through automation.

This role is contributing to the Sevensense by ABB team as part of ABB Robotics in Spain and Switzerland. Through your work, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products perform reliably across a wide range of customer environments. As an adecuado candidate, you demonstrate curiosity, ownership, attention to detail, and a systematic approach to problem solving.
You will be mainly accountable for:




- Executing and documenting validation activities for new features, bug fixes, and software releases on our robotic platforms.
- Investigating test failures, reproducing issues, and working with development teams to identify root causes and verify fixes.
- Maintaining and extending manual and automated test suites, while collaborating with the test automation team to increase automation coverage.
- Continuously improving validation workflows, test environments, and release readiness criteria, by identifying opportunities to increase testing efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications for the role
- A degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with a focus on robotic systems.
- Experience working hands-on with robotic platforms or other complex hardware-software systems for testing, integration, or troubleshooting.
