The Role As a Principal Engineer at Viaplay, you will be contributing hands-on by engineering scalable and resilient back-end systems in Node.js and Rust running in AWS, as well as driving the overall technical vision and direction of our platform. You will join an autonomous metrics driven team of experts to deliver engineering solutions aligned with long-term technical and product visions. We build our entire product in-house, with apps in native languages and a microservices backend on AWS, transitioning toward an event-driven, serverless architecture. Extensive professional experience developing customer-focused, web-based services using JavaScript, and TypeScript.
