Innovation sits at the core of the company’s strategy - particularly in developing sustainable alternatives to plastic through advanced paper technologies, barrier coatings, and next-generation packaging solutions.

The role is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary R&D; team while working in close partnership with Product Management, Commercial, Operations, and Mill Directors to deliver customer-focused packaging solutions with a clear path to market within a three-year horizon. The successful candidate will drive collaboration across manufacturing sites, provide technical leadership,



and translate customer and market needs into commercially viable products. This role requires a hands-on leader with extensive experience in paper or flexible packaging, strong stakeholder management skills, and the credibility to influence both technical and commercial teams in a fast-paced, transformation-focused environment.

Responsibilities

- Lead a distributed team in a matrix environment
- Expand applications for sustainable and barrier paper technologies
- Build strong partnerships with customers, suppliers, and research bodies

Candidate Profile

- 10+ years in paper or adaptable packaging or food manufacturing packaging.
- Experience in R&D;, or technical-commercial leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of specialty papers, and manufacturing processes
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish is a must
