Intellias is partnering with a Fortune 100, Midwest-based industrial manufacturer to modernize and expand a suite of cloud-based services and data products used by a general network of dealers, enterprise customers, and internal business units. 6+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining backend services and distributed systems in production using Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, Docker
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS core services and cloud-native application development.
Strong experience designing and operating event-driven distributed systems using technologies such as Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or equivalent messaging platforms.
Strong experience with JPA / Hibernate
Strong database design skills with PostgreSQL (advanced SQL) and DynamoDB, including schema design, optimization, and performance tuning
Solid test automation experience using JUnit and Cucumber




Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and/or similar CI/CD tools
Strong ownership and self-management in a fast-paced Agile environment, with the ability to independently deliver end-to-end solutions, resolve blockers, and communicate effectively in English
Advanced SQL expertise, including designing, writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex analytical queries against large and complex datasets.
Experience processing, enriching, or analyzing event and telemetry data at scale.
Experience with AWS CloudFormation.
Experience with BigQuery or Databricks.
Experience with Spring Cloud.
Experience working with geospatial data (PostGIS).
Experience supporting large-scale data platforms, reporting systems, or business analytics products.
Experience working with distributed data processing or data pipeline technologies.
