Experteer Overview
As Pursuits and Bids Manager in Madrid, you lead the bidding team to win high-quality opportunities for Arup. You will coordinate pursuits, guide proposal development with technical and project teams, and align bid activity with market priorities. You’ll work within the MCBD function to strengthen our win strategy across Spain and contribute to Europe-wide bidding initiatives. This role offers impact through shaping client-driven opportunities and improving bidding processes. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver focused, compelling bids that support Arup’s mission.

• Oversee pursuit and bid support for the Spain Group
• Coordinate tender processes, schedules, compliance, and document production
• Guide proposal development with input from technical teams, schedulers, and project managers
• Collaborate with writers, editors, designers, and client managers to strengthen bids
• Attend relevant BD and go/no-go meetings and capture pipeline priorities
• Contribute to bid process improvements and Europe Region Bidding network initiatives




• Coordinate regional bidding resources to align with priority clients and bids
• Provide input to presentations and interview preparation for client-facing activities
• Promote structured bid win/loss feedback and share insights within MCBD
• Ensure accurate CRM usage and maintain bid collateral and master files in SharePoint

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor degree relevant field (Marketing, Communications)
• APMP certification desirable
• 7+ years’ experience in pursuits and bids in AEC or similar
• Experience managing high-performing pursuit teams across markets
• Experience in bid lifecycle management at regional scale
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
• Knowledge of current AEC bidding trends and procurement methods
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Proficiency with marketing/BD technologies
