Experteer Overview
In this role you will design, develop, and deploy scalable Market Risk analytics solutions for processing large datasets. You will work with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy Java/C++ applications and improve risk calculations. You’ll investigate production issues, support secure coding practices, and collaborate with upstream systems to resolve data inconsistencies. This is an opportunity to impact risk decision-making through robust, scalable software in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

• Maintain and modernize mission-critical Java and C++ applications supporting Market Risk calculations
• Enhance the Aire component while preserving backward compatibility
• Analyze legacy code to identify root causes of production issues
• Drive vulnerability remediation and secure coding practices
• Investigate valuation discrepancies across market data sources and coordinate with upstream systems (Murex)
• Optimize pricing algorithms and system performance in the HUB component
• Develop and deploy Oracle SQL packages using GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines




• Perform database analysis, data validation, and production support with Oracle SQL Developer
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver reliable Market Risk solutions
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for legacy systems and procedures

Responsabilidades
• Strong knowledge of Java and C++
• Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
• Basic knowledge of Oracle SQL and SQL Developer for data validation and troubleshooting
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Understanding of SDLC and secure coding practices
• Ability to analyze existing code and understand complex business logic
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts; experience with GitHub Actions is a plus
• Ability to work with technical and legacy system documentation
• Good understanding of logical operations and algorithmic thinking
