Experteer Overview
As Project Engineer in TOMRA Food’s Valencia office, you will design and deliver bespoke customer solutions within the food sorting and processing portfolio. You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Project Management and Service teams from concept to commissioning. Your work spans from scoping and cost estimation to on-site risk assessments and multi-project coordination, leveraging 3D modelling and plant layouts. You’ll help ensure safe, compliant, and efficient installations that support TOMRA’s mission to improve integral food safety and reduce waste.

• Scope projects and estimate costs for bespoke solutions during quotations
• Review customer specifications and ensure alignment with project requirements
• Perform on-site risk assessments and address installation actions
• Develop 3D concepts using SolidWorks
• Create 2D plant layouts with AutoCAD
• Produce project-specific Pu0026ID, electrical lists, and third-party interfaces
• Conduct site visits for measurements and installation planning
• Maintain engineering documentation for designs and changes
• Oversee multiple projects across the TOMRA FOOD portfolio
• Support manufacturing,
service and technical documentation; assist change control
• Collaborate with Sales, Service and Production to secure successful delivery
• Travel up to 20% to customer sites and TOMRA locations
• Hold a valid driving license
• Promote health, safety and environmental responsibility
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline
• At least 3 years in a design-related engineering role
• Proficiency in 3D modelling and 2D technical drawing
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks
• Experience in the food industry or similar sector would be beneficial
• Experience creating engineering documentation and technical drawings
• Spanish and English proficiency
• Valid driving license
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze technical challenges and develop practical solutions
