Our client is a leading European semiconductor company developing cutting-edge AI chip infrastructure. They are at the forefront of memory subsystem design and high-performance computing, creating innovative solutions that power the next generation of AI processors.

We are looking for experienced Verification Engineers to join а highly skilled team developing next-generation, high-performance RISC-V processors for AI and high-performance computing.

We are currently expanding our Design Verification organisation and hiring engineers across Core Verification (UVM/Testbench Development) and Formal Verification. If your expertise is stronger in either area, we'd love to hear from you.

Depending on your background, you will contribute to the verification of complex processor microarchitectures by developing reusable verification environments, driving coverage closure, building formal verification frameworks, or advancing our verification methodology and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain block-level or top-level verification environments.
- Build reusable SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, monitors, checkers and verification IP.
- Develop SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) and formal properties where applicable.




- Drive functional and code coverage closure across complex processor designs.
- Verify CPU, Vector Unit and execution pipeline functionality.
- Debug complex RTL issues and identify corner-case verification gaps.
- Improve regression flows, verification tooling and CI infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with RTL designers, architects and software teams.
- Contribute to verification methodology and mentor other verification engineers.

Requirements

- B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong industrial experience in hardware Design Verification.
- Experience verifying processor cores, CPU, GPU, DSP or other complex digital designs.
- Advanced knowledge of SystemVerilog.
- Strong expertise in at least one of the following:
- UVM, simulation-based verification and reusable verification environments
- Formal Verification, SVA and property-based verification
- Experience with Python, Bash or Tcl scripting.
- Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.

- RISC-V processor verification.




- UVM methodology, coverage-driven verification and regression infrastructure.
- Formal tools such as JasperGold, VC Formal or OneSpin.
- Questa, Verdi or other industry-standard simulators and debug tools.
- CI/CD and verification automation.
- AXI, CHI or similar on-chip protocols.
- Out-of-Order CPU architectures.
- Emulation platforms such as Veloce or ZeBu.
