Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities

About the Role

- We operate a nationwide network of CASH-points. Keeping that network current means running many projects on the same physical sites at the same time — ATM replacements, security patches, accessibility works, maintenance interventions and communication rollouts — triggered by different parts of the business (Facility, Operations, IT and Communications).
- We are looking for a Rollout Planner to be the single point of coordination for all on-site execution. You hold the overall view of every action that has to happen on our sites, whoever requested it, so that activities stay coherent and do not collide on the ground. You are the person who makes sure the right work reaches the right site in the right sequence, without duplication, conflict or surprises for the field.
- This is a planning and coordination role first. You do not design every solution or build every project yourself — those are led by project managers, build managers and maintenance managers. Your job is to see the whole picture across all of them, safeguard coherence, and — for a defined set of projects — also act as the hands-on rollout executor.
- The role has two clearly distinct modes. As Rollout Planner you hold the overview across every project and site, sequence and de-conflict activities, and coordinate the parties who deliver — you own coherence, not execution. As Rollout Executor, for a defined and agreed subset of projects (typically standardised, multi-site rollouts with limited construction impact), you additionally step in and personally drive those rollouts to completion across all impacted sites. The planner mode is permanent and covers the whole portfolio; the executor mode applies only to the specific projects assigned to you, and is always explicitly scoped so the distinction stays clear.
- As a regulated financial institution, we operate under strict security, confidentiality and audit requirements. You will be expected to uphold these standards in everything you touch.

Who You Are

- You are a seasoned, pragmatic coordinator who brings order to complex, multi-party delivery. You command respect across trades, external vendors and internal teams without relying on formal hierarchy — people turn to you because your judgement is trusted. You stay calm and decisive when sites, partners and deadlines collide, and you are comfortable making trade-off calls under pressure with incomplete information. You are practical over theoretical:

you care about what actually gets done on the ground, not just what looks right on a plan.

Key Responsibilities

- Portfolio Overview and Coherence
- Hold and maintain the single, consolidated view of all on-site actions across the CASH-point network, regardless of which party (Facility, Operations, IT, Communications) raised the demand
- Identify where multiple projects touch the same sites, sequence and de-conflict those activities, and prevent duplicate or colliding interventions
- Act as the guardian of coherence across Facility, Operations, IT and Security activity on the ground
- Give management a reliable, up-to-date picture of what is planned, in progress and completed per site

Rollout Planning and Coordination

- Assist in the translation of approved project concepts into concrete, site-level rollout plans: sequence, timing, dependencies and required partners
- Coordinate external partners and site coordinators, and align with the concept lead of each project (project manager, build manager or maintenance manager)
- Maintain a realistic master planning that balances demand against site access, resource availability and business constraints
- Keep all stakeholders informed on rollout status, risks and slippage

Quality Gate and Readiness

- Ensure every project passes the rollout quality gate before on-site execution begins — confirming the business case, a standard approach, and supplier contracts / work orders are in place
- Challenge readiness where it is missing, and hold execution until the gate is genuinely met
- Adapt the gate format appropriately to the type and complexity of the project
- Rollout Execution (for defined projects)
- Act as rollout executor for a defined subset of projects — typically standardised, multi-site rollouts with limited construction impact
- Drive those rollouts to completion across all impacted sites, coordinating external partners end to end
- Capture lessons learned and feed them back into the standard rollout approach
- Governance, Reporting and Compliance
- Report to the Chief Facility Officer on portfolio-level rollout status,

and work closely with the CIO organisation during the set-up phase of the role
- Ensure work performed on site is properly documented and reflected in internal records
- Uphold security, confidentiality and audit requirements in all planning and execution activity
- Support internal and external audits with accurate, well-structured rollout documentation

Requirements

- Master’s degree, or equivalent seniority through experience, in a relevant field (engineering, facility, operations, project management or similar)
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in rollout planning, project coordination, or multi-site programme delivery
- Proven experience delivering multi-site rollouts is necessary — this is not a role to grow into
- Demonstrated ability to align parties who do not report to you — external partners, vendors and internal teams — and to earn their trust through natural authority rather than hierarchy
- Comfort making trade-off and sequencing calls under pressure, with incomplete information, and standing behind them
- A track record of bringing order and coherence to fragmented, multi-party delivery
- Strong planning and coordination skills, comfortable managing dependencies across multiple parties and external partners
- Excellent communication skills, able to align technical teams, business requestors and external suppliers
- Strong sense of confidentiality and professional discretion
- Fluency in English, Dutch and/or French

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in banking, ATM / self-service networks, retail rollout, telecom or another multi-site operational environment is a plus
- Experience working with external construction, maintenance or facility partners is a plus
- Project or programme certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) is a plus
- Familiarity with regulated financial-services requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, DORA) is a plus

What Success Looks Like

In your first six months, there is one clear, trusted overview of everything happening on our sites, and the business relies on it. Partners and internal teams turn to you as the point of coordination and trust your sequencing calls. Parallel projects no longer collide on the ground; site interventions are sequenced, planned and communicated ahead of time. The rollout quality gate is respected, so work only starts when it is genuinely ready. For the projects you execute yourself, rollouts complete cleanly across all sites — on plan, well-documented, and without surprises for the field.
