For their offices in Brussels, employing a small team, we are looking for an inspiring and entrepreneurial CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER to guide its future direction.

You will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic development and long-term

sustainability of the organization

Responsibilities

- Strategic and organizational leadership
- Governance and Board relations
- Leadership of fundraising initiatives
- People leadership; lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team
- Partnership and Resource Development
- External representation; act as a credible spokesperson and ambassador for the organization.

The Candidate Profile





- Proven professional experience in leading organizations combining both strategic and operational management responsibilities. Experience can be gained within corporate and/or non-profit/NGO environments
- Experience in leading, motivating and developing teams
- Outstanding communication and relation-building skills
- Experience in fundraising, partnership and stakeholder engagement
- Outstanding planning and organisational skills
- Pro-active, dynamic, hands-on with strong listening skills
- Affinity with mission-driven organizations and social impact
- Fluency in Dutch, English and French.
