Infogene Belgium (part of Vulcain Engineering Group) is looking for a Data Architect to join its teams.

In this role, you will design modern data architectures that enable organizations to leverage data for analytics, business intelligence, AI and strategic decision-making.

You will contribute to transformation projects across the Energy, Life Sciences and Industrial sectors, working with multidisciplinary teams and business stakeholders.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Design scalable, secure and future-proof data architectures, including enterprise data models, integration patterns and governance principles

• Lead the design and implementation of modern data platforms across cloud and hybrid environments, including Data Warehousing and Lakehouse solutions

• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Solution Architects, Project Managers and Business Stakeholders to ensure architectural consistency across projects

• Establish standards and best practices for data management, data quality, security and governance

• Optimize data flows, storage solutions and platform performance

• Contribute to technology roadmaps and strategic decisions related to data architecture and digital transformation

ABOUT YOU

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering or a related field

• Between 5 and 10 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering or enterprise data projects

• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms

• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, data governance and integration patterns





• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to both technical and business stakeholders

• Comfortable working in collaborative and Agile environments

• Professional proficiency in English is required; French and/or Dutch is highly appreciated

• Experience in Energy, Utilities, Life Sciences or Industrial environments is a strong asset
