Belgium | Offshore Construction Manager (X2) | Long Term Contract

Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Manager to support a major offshore energy infrastructure project in Belgium.

This is a 26 month contractor assignment with responsibility for the day-to-day management of offshore construction activities and coordination of the client-side project team.

The Role

You will act as the main site contact for the EPC contractor, coordinating client representatives and project engineers and ensuring construction activities are delivered safely, to the required quality and in line with schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate client representatives and project engineers.
- Act as the SPOC for day-to-day offshore construction activities.
- Monitor EPC contractor performance across HSE, quality and progress.
- Review method statements, risk assessments and construction procedures.
- Identify risks and opportunities and implement mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with civil, marine, HSE, QC, contracts and project teams.
- Oversee key works including:
- Reinforcement, formwork and concrete works
- Revetment rock works
- Harbour outfitting
- Provide progress reporting and support project planning.

Requirements

Essential

- 10+ years' relevant construction experience.
- Strong civil construction background.
- Engineering qualification, preferably Civil Engineering.
- Excellent communication,



leadership and organisational skills.
- Strong MS Office and ACONEX experience.
- Fluent English.

Desirable

- Offshore construction experience.
- Experience with structural and corrosion protection.
- Broader knowledge of marine, electrical, mechanical or instrumentation disciplines.
- Dutch and/or French.

Certifications

- BOSIET or equivalent
- Offshore medical certification (e.g. NOGEPA)
- Boat landing training

Working Pattern

September 2026 – March 2027:

Full-time office-based in Belgium for project familiarisation and preparation.

March 2027 – November 2027:

Offshore rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off or 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off.

December 2027 – March 2028:

Office-based in Belgium for lessons learned and preparation.

March 2028 – November 2028:

Offshore rotation on the same basis.

Offshore accommodation and crew transfers via CTV will be provided.

Location & Eligibility

- Belgium-based office work with offshore rotation.
- Candidates based in Belgium or the Netherlands preferred.
- Non-EU candidates must already have the right to work and reside in Belgium.
