Atmospheric Science Expert (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your deep knowledge of atmospheric science could directly shape how AI understands one of the most complex and consequential fields on Earth? We're looking for Atmospheric Science experts — Masters and PhD level — to develop advanced, rigorous problems in climate modeling, meteorology, and ecology that teach AI systems to reason at the highest scientific level.

This is a fully remote, versátil contract role designed for domain experts who want to do meaningful work on their own schedule. Training and onboarding support will be provided.

What You'll Do

- Design, solve, and review advanced atmospheric science problems with real-world relevance and scientific depth
- Apply your expertise in climate modeling, meteorology, ecology, or sustainability to craft complex, nuanced problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated scientific reasoning for accuracy, rigor, and logical soundness
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to push the boundaries of AI scientific reasoning
- Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of scientific clarity, precision, and depth

Who You Are





- Hold a Master's or PhD in Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, Climate Science, or a closely related field
- Experienced with Python or R for research, data analysis, or modeling
- Deep expertise in at least one of: climate modeling, atmospheric dynamics, ecology, or sustainability science
- Exceptionally strong written communicator — you can explain complex science clearly and precisely
- Detail-oriented and rigorous in your scientific reasoning
- Fluent in English

Nice to Have

- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation systems
- Background in scientific writing, peer review, or curriculum development
- Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning concepts
- Experience working across interdisciplinary research environments
