Location: Melbourne Zoo, Elliott Avenue, Parkville VIC 3052, Australia The Position:

- Prepare, cook, and present food for café, kiosks, and catered events.
- Ensure high quality and consistency across all dishes.
- Manage your section during service with high efficiency.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
- Monitor stock levels and assist with food ordering.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team for smooth operations.




- Mentor junior chefs and apprentices to foster skill development.
- Contribute to menu planning and daily specials. [1, 2]

The Person:

- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or senior cook.
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
- Ability to perform well in high-volume environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Versátil availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Passionate about fresh, seasonal ingredients and sustainability.
