UPS Commissioning EngineerThe UPS Commissioning Engineer is responsible to provide professional on-site services for UPS range of products produced by Schneider Electric for its customers and their projects. This includescommissioning, technical on-site analysis, supervision during installation and/or commissioning, resolving customer’s issues, troubleshooting.

Regional Service

Representative for UPS is primary focusing on complex & critical projects in the field of Secure Power installations (UPS, Battery Cabinets, Transfer Switches)Main responsibilitiesPerform Startup & Commissioning on all equipment across the entire secure power (UPS) product rangeEvaluate unit’s installation (e.g. the quality of connections, assembly, readiness for start-up… )Evaluate system's installation & operational conditionsAbility to perform onsite adjustments to bring the units to the best running conditionsSupport customers in the installation, modification and repair of UPS product rangeBe able to identify if the failure is related to a quality issue/software issue / operation condition issue(Root cause Analysis)Work with another Schneider Electric service engineers & partners during site interventionsInteract with with L3 suport with objective to solve issues on-siteProvide training to Schneider Electric customers on operations of the equipmentInteract with customers on site or remotely on the level and type of support requiredAbility to perform preventive & corrective maintenance for UPS products & systemsSpecific requirementsThorough understanding UPS principles and knowledge of electricity must be able to perform duties with general direction, receiving only general guidance with respect to overall objectivesWork is usually quite independent of other team membersMust comply with all safety policies, practices, procedures, and standardsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulationsAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesHandle multiple tasks simultaneouslyWillingness to travel internationally for 70% of the working time (and more)Education and Experience:Diploma/bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent5 years with commissioning or field service repair with secure powerConfirmed experience with Secure Power insulations (UPS, Battery cabinets, Transfer Switches)Experience with installation and commission in Data Center is real advantageKnowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic circuitry on a component levelMandatory: fluent communication in English language (B2+ level min)Flexibility & Reliability, focus on technical details & Customer focus, Team player,
