Descripció del projecte Cervells virtuals per a la recerca La complexitat del cervell humà planteja un repte significatiu a la investigació i, per tant, a la comprensió dels mecanismes que regeixen la seva funció i disfunció.

Els bessons digitals són models virtuals dissenyats per reflectir objectes físics i oferir un enfocament atractiu per a la recerca en neurociències. El projecte eBRAIN-Health, finançat per la UE, generarà aquests models virtuals de pacients i controls saludables per estudiar la demència, un tema important de la societat i la medicina. Els investigadors tractaran i combinaran dades moleculars, cel·lulars, fisiològiques i de comportament en una infraestructura de recerca clínica.

Simular el cervell humà ajudarà a la predicció del risc de demència, així com al desenvolupament d'innovacions en salut.

Project description Virtual brains for research The complexity of the human brain poses a significant challenge to the investigation and hence understanding of the mechanisms governing its function and dysfunction.

Digital twins are virtual models designed to reflect physical objects and offer an attractive approach for neuroscience research. The EU-funded eBRAIN-Health project will generate such virtual models of patients and healthy controls to study dementia, an important societal and medical issue. Researchers will process and combine molecular, cellular, physiology and behavioural data into a clinical research infrastructure.

Simulating the human brain will assist the prediction of dementia risk as well as the development of health innovations.

Criteris de selecció/ Selection criteria: La selecció dels candidats es farà mitjançant valoració del currículum i, si escau, amb la realització d’una prova i/o entrevista. La valoració serà la següent:/ The selection of the candidates will be made through evaluation of the curriculum and, where appropriate, with the carrying out a test and/or interview. Valuation will be as follows:

1- Formació Acadèmica/ Academic Training (0-20 punts/points).

● Master en Neurociencia o Física o similar./ Master in Neuroscience or Physics or similar.

2- Altra formació i experiència professional, adequació al perfil proposat/ Other professional training and experience, adequacy to the proposed profile (0-60 punts/ points):

● Coneixements demostrables (publicacions i presentacions) d'anàlisi i modelització de la RMf./ Demonstrable knowledge (publications and presentations) of fMRI analysis and modeling.

3- Altres mèrits/ Other merits (0-20 punts/ points):

● Bons coneixements de MATLAB, Python i R./ Good knowledge of MATLAB, Python and R.

● Bons coneixements de sistemes dinàmics complexos./ Good knowledge of complex dynamical systems.

● Nivell alt d'anglès./ High level of English.

La puntuació mínima per passar el procés de selecció és de 70 punts. La persona candidata que hagi obtingut la puntuació més alta en el procés de selecció serà l’adjudicatària del lloc de treball./ The minimum score to pass the selection process is 70 points.
