The Design

Engineer is responsible for developing and refining / improving products, sub-assemblies and components to meet functional, reliability, and safety requirements. This role involves developing detailed designs, managing interfaces, and ensuring robustness through analysis and optimization. It requires close collaboration across disciplines to deliver innovative, manufacturable solutions aligned with technical and quality standards Key Responsibilities: Design & Review System Elements / Components / Sub Assemblies Contribute to the DfSR process (P-Diagram, Interface Diagram, Interface matrix / Architecture View, DFMEA, FTA) Define Components / Sub-Assemblies Mission Profile Perform DFMEA Mitigation actions, Design Optimization & Tolerance stack-up - Manage simulation.

Manage

Variants, Versions, Baselines of the prototypes at the data and physical level Create, modify, and validate the Definition File (including BOM, drawings and material selection) of parts and sub-assemblies in accordance with technical specifications, drawing rules, customer expectations, manufacturability and supply chain constraints (including cost target) Write parts and sub-assemblies Verification Test Plan and manage its execution Release Definition file for Production QualificationsMust haveSpecialized technical expertise in electro-mechanical design and product development.Experience designing and improving products, components,



and sub-assemblies.Knowledge of design and risk methodologies such as DFMEA, FTA, tolerance stack-up, and interface analysis.Experience considering manufacturability, supply chain constraints, quality, safety, reliability, and cost targets.Nice to haveExperience with design optimization and simulation.Knowledge of verification test planning and execution.ð» We know how great it is to work from home.
