Were looking for a Junior QA Engineer to become the first dedicated QA professional in the growing tech team of our client.

This is a unique opportunity to build the QA function from the ground up, helping define testing processes, improve product quality, and gradually introduce test automation. Youll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to ensure every release meets high-quality standards while developing a deep understanding of the product and contributing to product discussions. Based in Barcelona, the office is near Turó Park, youll join a collaborative startup environment where your ideas will have a direct impact on both the product and the development process.

Own the manual QA process for the web application and backend Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and regression test suites for every release Test new features before production, ensuring product stability and a great user experience Build and continuously improve QA processes,



becoming the first point of reference for quality within the team Identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing and gradually implement automated tests using the teams preferred tools Collaborate with developers and DevOps to integrate automated testing into the development workflow and CI/CD pipeline Around 2-3 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance Strong experience with manual functional testing, regression testing, and writing test cases Experience using bug tracking tools such as Jira, Linear, YouTrack, or similar Experience testing APIs with tools like Postman or Insomnia Exposure to test automation using Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks French is a plus, but not required.
