ATLANTIS is looking for an experienced Image Processing profile for the design, development, and tests of a calibration and validation (CalVal) plan of multispectral optical and infrared missions.

The specific tasks will include:

- Derivation and flow down of top-level requirements into specific image processing requirements
- Design and development of end-to-end quality process of satellite mission, including the products and processing scenario definition, the calibration pipeline reaching analysis ready data.
- Design and development of a validation pipeline with manual and automated quality control tests to verify optical performance, radiometric and geolocation accuracy.

Skills and experience

- Knowledge of Python and image processing libraries such as Numpy, Scipy and Scikit-Image
- Master or PhD degree in Physics, Mathematics,



Engineering or related to image processing
- Experience in with EO data analysis, CalVal and data management
- Experience in development and maintenance of ground infrastructure and/or software systems
- Experience in remote sensing retrieval techniques
- Problem-solving approach
- Team spirit, versatility and creativity
- English B2 level

Preferred

- Experience using control version repositories (git)
- Experience with RadCalNet
- Experience with ESA CalVal or EDAP projects
- Knowledge of C/C++
- Knowledge in computer vision or opencv
- Spanish B2 level
- English negotiation level.
