What you’ll doThe People Data and Insights team seeks a motivated Data Analyst. The role involves leveraging analytical skills to transform raw data into actionable insights, making People data accessible, unlocking insights into team experience and advocacy, and ultimately making Woolworths a preferred workplace.
Working with multiple stakeholders across the Woolworths Group you are/will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and problems and suggest data-driven solutions to inform actions
- Analyse large data sets using statistical and data mining techniques to identify trends and patterns
- Create clear and compelling visualisations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Craft narratives that translate complex data into understandable stories that resonate with stakeholders




- Build persona based, user centric analytical/reporting solutions; through the use of SQL querying logic, Tableau and Looker
- Manage automated access to reports and dashboards through detailed role-based permissions in GCP/Tableau
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data sources and analysis methodologies
- Observe data privacy principles, maintain confidentiality and ensure data security
- Maintain and update documentation including; process; specifications, support documents and testing scripts
- Build and maintain great working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership
