Shape backend strategy: collaborate with the wider backend community to execute and promote key strategic initiatives from our roadmap.
Champion best practices: actively participate in the backend guild to maintain high technical standards and consistency across the organization.
Fluency in Spanish and English.
Backend experience: 5+ years of backend development with a specialization in high‑scale distributed systems.
Programming: proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with deep experience in microservices (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
Containers & orchestration: hands‑on experience with Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, ECS, or Docker Swarm.
Data streaming:



experience with stream processing tools, specifically Kafka.
System architecture: deep understanding of system architecture, microservices design patterns, and performance optimization.
Engineering best practices: strong advocate for SOLID principles, security, testing, observability, and scalability.
Agile methodology: proven experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
Ownership & drive: self‑starter and detail‑oriented professional capable of delivering projects with minimal supervision.
