Senior Technical Asset Manager (Wind & solar)

An IPP backed by an investment fund is looking for a Senior Technical Asset Manager to join its team in Madrid, Spain, and work closely with the Head of Asset Management and the Portfolio

Managers.

This role will perform technical asset management activities for offshore wind farm,

based together with a regulated solar PV operating portfolio in Spain.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in optimizing energy production and

revenues, identifying cost reduction initiatives, and ensuring the availability, transparency,

and actionable use of information across both solar and wind technologies.

Responsibilities

Asset Management & Technical Oversight

 Lead technical asset management activities for the assigned wind assets,

while supporting solar PV technical management activities.

 Oversee and manage the daytoday relationship with Service Providers (Asset

Management and O&M;), ensuring full compliance with contractual

obligations.

 Monitor and manage thirdparty service providers (insurance providers, market

agents,



etc.).

 Develop a detailed understanding of SPVlevel contracts, including O&M;, asset

management, grid, land, and commercial agreements.

 Supervise compliance with technical, commercial, legal, and regulatory

requirements.

 Review and challenge Service Provider policies, procedures, and processes to

ensure contractual, procedural, and legislative compliance.

 Review monthly operational and maintenance reports, identify

underperformance or contractual deviations, and define corrective actions.

 Conduct plant inspections and assess technical condition, availability, and

reliability of assets.

 Monitor and oversee cybersecurity compliance related to asset operations.

 Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements and effective claims

management.
