Purchasing Manager – Pre-Opening | ZEST Hotel & Resort Ibiza

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join the pre-opening team at ZEST Hotel & Resort Ibiza, an exciting new five-star lifestyle resort opening in Ibiza.

With 206 keys, private villas, destination restaurants, extensive wellness facilities and a general entertainment partnership, ZEST is being created as a distinctive new luxury hospitality destination.

This is not simply a traditional hotel purchasing role.

We are specifically looking for someone with previous hotel or resort pre-opening experience, together with strong hands-on expertise in OS&E; procurement, coordination and implementation.

The opportunity

As Purchasing Manager, you will play a key role in taking ZEST from development through to operational readiness.

During pre-opening, you will:

- Lead and coordinate the OS&E; procurement programme across Rooms, F&B;, Spa, Engineering and other operational departments
- Manage the procurement journey from specification and tendering through to ordering, logistics, delivery and implementation
- Work with Heads of Department to establish requirements, quantities, specifications and delivery schedules
- Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers across Ibiza, mainland Spain and international markets
- Manage multiple procurement workstreams against critical pre-opening timelines
- Support management of OS&E; and relevant CAPEX budgets
- Work closely with the project, finance and operational teams to ensure the resort is fully equipped and operationally ready for opening
- Establish purchasing systems, supplier frameworks, controls and processes for the new resort




- Identify and resolve supply-chain, logistics and delivery risks before they impact the opening programme

Following opening, you will lead the ongoing purchasing and supply-chain operation, driving supplier performance, cost control, quality and availability across the resort.

What we're looking for

Hotel pre-opening experience is a key requirement for this role.

You should bring

- Previous purchasing/procurement experience within a hotel or resort pre-opening
- Strong practical experience of OS&E; procurement and implementation
- Experience within luxury, upscale or lifestyle hospitality
- Strong supplier negotiation and contract-management skills
- Knowledge of hospitality and F&B; supply chains
- Experience within Ibiza, Spain and/or wider European markets
- Strong commercial, organisational and project-management skills
- Fluent English and Spanish
- Based in Ibiza or willing to relocate
