Advise on the implementation of new laws and regulations in the Regulatory Change Management process

Participate in the Compliance Risk Assessment process and provide effective challenge
Support business initiatives, including new product assessments
Review communications and customer-facing materials from a transparency perspective and for alignment with internal policies
Support periodic reviews of Compliance policies and procedures
Requirements
- University degree (preferably in Law)
- At least 4–6 years of regulatory Compliance experience related to financial institutions or the payments industry
- High level of English, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with payment services regulation in Spain and Europe
- Ability to build positive relationships with business stakeholders and partners
- Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills
- Ability to adapt, handle several tasks simultaneously,
and work as part of a team
- Analytical skills and strong business understanding
- Initiative and ability to assume responsibilities
- Employment eligibility to work with American Express in Spain required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship
- Successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations
