Your missionHola y bienvenido/a a Sungrow We are excited to welcome an ESS Project Manager to our Energy Storage Business Sector in Spain. In this role, you will help deliver high-impact battery storage projects across Southern Europe and contribute directly to a more sustainable energy future.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of ESS projects, from purchase order through commissioning and final handover.
- Build and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Act as the main contact for customers, EPC partners, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross-functional colleagues in sales, engineering, logistics, service, finance, and quality to keep delivery on track.
- Manage contract obligations, payment milestones, technical documentation, and project reporting.
- Ensure projects meet agreed quality, safety, timeline, and customer-satisfaction standards.

Your profileSounds like your kind of challenge? To thrive in this role, you bring a structured, collaborative approach and enjoy turning complex renewable-energy projects into successful customer outcomes.
- You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a comparable field.
- You have at least three years of project-management experience in energy storage, renewables, electrical infrastructure, EPC, or related technical environments.
- You understand ESS or BESS project delivery, including supply, logistics, commissioning, contractual requirements, and stakeholder coordination.
- You are confident managing multiple priorities, budgets, schedules, risks, and project documentation in a fast-paced environment.
- You bring strong communication, negotiation, customer-management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
