We are currently looking for a Senior Risk Consultant to support our European Professional Services team.

To reinforce our consulting team in the Madrid office, we are looking for a Risk Consultant with strong functional expertise coupled with a passion for technology and strong analytical and communication skills.

Our office in Madrid belongs to the Risk & Performance business unit which is part of FIS Capital Markets. We are a group of financial experts and skilled software engineers that work closely together to produce high quality software.

What you will be doing:
- Provide onsite and remote implementation consulting in the field of Asset & Liability Management, Liquidity Risk Management and Market Risk for leading financial institutions in the Iberia region and the rest of Europe.
- You’ll have extensive responsibilities right from the start, to analyse banking business combined with designing solutions and managing your own projects.- As part of the delivery team:
- perform client requirements gathering workshops
- create project definition documents and project plans
- analyse, understand, and model banking data to ensure best quality input
- develop in-depth knowledge on bank’s Risk Management and how to calibrate and implement robust risk models
- guide and assist the clients in performing data validation and reconci
