Lead and manage a highly complex logistics operation, ensuring the achievement of financial, operational, and customer service objectives. He holds full accountability for the site's P&L;, customer relationship, operational performance, and overall business results. The role is responsible for maximizing operational efficiency, ensuring business continuity, driving continuous improvement, and leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver service excellence.
Key responsibilities
Own full site Profit & Loss (P&L;) accountability.
Act as the senior point of contact for the customer and lead business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives with the customer.
Lead and develop the site's management and operational teams
Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.
Develop leadership capability and succession pipelines across the site.
Promote effective communication, recognition, and employee engagement.
Partner with HR to ensure effective employee relations and workforce management.
Ensure safe, compliant,
and efficient site operations.
Deliver service, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
Monitor and improve operational KPIs and performance standards.
