- Drive the global adoption of automation solutions within the S4G (Smart Factory for the Future) and AIP (AI Program) initiatives across multiple plants.
- Define and promote integral standards, best practices, and governance for automation, ensuring alignment on how sites should work.
- Lead and coordinate automation projects (PLC, SCADA, OT/IT integration) from concept to implementation, in collaboration with local site teams.
- Act as the global point of contact for automation topics, supporting manufacturing sites in troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations and internal quality standards in all automation-related activities.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, training, and change management to support digital transformation and smart factory deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, IT, production, quality)



to integrate automation into broader digital and AI initiatives.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and resources, including worldwide travel to support implementation and standardization on site.Your profile?
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Process Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience as Automation Lead for global plants in the pharmaceutical or highly regulated industrial sector.
- Strong hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA and OT/IT integration, as well as project management in automation/digital transformation.
- Knowledge of English at C2 level; Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work in a multicultural team, travel worldwide, and adapt to a dynamic, global environment.Nice to have:
