We are looking for an exceptional

Family Learning Mentor

to support the educational and personal development of three wonderful children aged

7, 10 and 12 .
This is

not a nanny position

and it is

not a traditional tutoring role .
We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and believes that helping children develop lifelong learning habits is far more valuable than simply achieving good grades.
This is a long-term, part-time opportunity for an educational professional who wants to make a meaningful and lasting impact.
Your Mission Your role is not to teach school subjects.
Your mission is to help the children become:
Independent learners
Organised and responsible students
Curious and critical thinkers
Confident learners who genuinely enjoy education
English will be the primary language of communication throughout the afternoon.




Responsibilities

Collect the children from school.
Communicate in English throughout working hours.
Support homework organisation, projects and exam preparation.
Teach effective study techniques and learning strategies.
Develop organisational and planning skills.
Help the children prioritise tasks and manage their time effectively.
Encourage responsibility and ownership of their own work.
Answer questions and explain concepts whenever appropriate.
Guide them towards finding solutions independently rather than providing answers.
Encourage reading, curiosity, discussion and intellectual exploration.
