Description

- To liaise with the kitchen counter, chefs and the restaurant.

- To pick up the food from the kitchen as per the Senior Chef orders and hands over to the Waiter in the Restaurant.

- Facilitate clearance, takes back the used crockery from the restaurant and pass over to the cleaning counter.

- Assists in performing minor tasks like arranging bread basket, cutting lemons, preparing simple sauces.

- Able to safely transport hot and liquid items to and from the kitchen areas.

- Maintain a clean Dining / Pantry area.

- Polishes silver, using burnishing-machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth.

- Holds inverted glasses over revolving brushes to clean inside surfaces.





- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand .

- Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar.

- Sells coffees and coffee grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment operates.

- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
