About the Job As a B2B Sales Manager, you will play a key role in building and growing italki’s B2B business from an early stage. This is a hands-on commercial role for someone who can both deliver individual business development results and help shape the strategy, processes, and capabilities needed to scale the BD function. Responsibilities * Own individual B2B business development targets and directly contribute to pipeline generation, new customer acquisition, and revenue growth. * Manage the end-to-end BD process, including target account identification, prospecting, qualification, needs discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, and deal progression. * Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective corporate customers. * Develop and continuously refine the B2B business development strategy based on customer feedback, market insights, sales performance, and business priorities. * Define target customer segments, account priorities, outreach approaches, value propositions, and sales motions to improve pipeline quality and conversion.
* Build and improve the BD playbook, including prospecting processes, qualification criteria, pipeline management, messaging, CRM practices, and performance tracking. * Test different channels, messaging, and commercial approaches to identify scalable and repeatable ways to acquire B2B customers. * Provide market and customer insights to support product positioning, commercial strategy, and broader B2B business decisions. * Partner closely with internal stakeholders to improve the B2B customer journey and ensure effective coordination throughout the sales process. * Help define the future BD team structure, role profiles, capability requirements, performance expectations, and ways of working as the business scales. * Contribute to the hiring, onboarding, and development approach for future BD team members when team expansion begins. * Establish clear BD metrics and use pipeline and conve
