About The Role

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience needed — just rigorous domain expertise and a passion for scientific precision.
- Develop, solve, and review advanced material science problems with real-world relevance and scientific depth
- Apply your expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or related areas to design complex, high-quality problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, rigor, and reasoning quality
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to enhance model reasoning capabilities
- Ensure clarity, depth, and scientific integrity across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Material Science or a closely related field
- Strong expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or adjacent research areas
- Comfortable coding in Python or MATLAB — from research applications to simulation workflows
- Exceptional written communicator with sharp attention to detail
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
- Background in computational materials science or quantum chemistry
- Experience translating complex technical concepts into clear, structured written content
- Familiarity with AI tools or scientific evaluation platforms
