The NEMESYS Group at IMB-CNM (CSIC) , in collaboration with Energiot , is seeking a highly motivated Junior Researcher / Research Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge research in Energy Harvesting, MEMS, Wireless Sensor Systems and Smart Grid Technologies .

Energy Harvesting
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN)
Electrical Grid Monitoring
Sustainable Energy Systems

You will contribute to technologies that improve the efficiency, resilience and sustainability of future energy networks.

Develop energy harvesting systems for autonomous IoT devices
✅ Research piezoelectric, vibration-based and magneto-mechanical harvesting technologies
✅ Collaborate with leading European research centres, universities and industrial partners

MSc or PhD in: Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, Microelectronics,



Materials Science, Related disciplines
Energy Harvesting, MEMS, Low-Power Electronics, Self-Powered Systems, Sensors and Actuators, Wireless Sensor Networks, IoT, Hardware Development
Professional proficiency in English
MATLAB/Simulink
