We are seeking a Senior Director, Test Engineering to lead a global organization of engineers and drive cutting-edge test solutions for advanced technologies, including AI power products, mixed-signal ICs, power devices, modules, and sensors. In this highly strategic role, you will spearhead ATE innovation, oversee global NPI and production test operations, and build strong partnerships with OSATs, subcontractors, and industry-leading vendors. • DevelopmentLead and manage a integral team of 40+ test engineers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Drive strategic workforce planning to reduce time-to-market and maintain engineering excellence across geographies.Test Technology &
• ATE InnovationPartner closely with ATE vendors to evaluate, improve, and develop next-generation test methods, instruments, and platforms.Ensure test package deliverables meet high standards of quality, reusability, and scalability to support future derivative products.Champion test platform conversions, high-parallelism test strategies, and significant test time reduction initiatives to optimize cost and throughput.Improve tester robustness and reliability to uphold stringent quality standards across all product lines.New Product Introduction (NPI) &
• Production SupportOwn end-to-end NPI test solution releases, supporting full production ramp across OSAT sites.Deliver test solutions across a diverse and advanced product portfolio, including:AI power productsAdvanced power delivery solutionsComplex mixed-signal ICsPower ICs (Gate Drivers)Power DiscretesPower ModulesSensorsProvide sustained production support to ensure test stability, yield optimization, and continuous improvement post-release.Mechanical &
• Hardware Test SolutionsOversee all mechanical aspects of test solutions within OSAT environments, including:Handler selection and qualificationSocket designHandler Change-Over Kit (COK) designValidation and procurementEnsure mechanical test interfaces meet reliability, repeatability, and cost targets.OSAT &
• Subcontractor ManagementCultivate strategic OSAT partnerships, working collaboratively with subcontractors to streamline test outsourcing processes and strengthen production readiness.Engage proactively with subcontractors to align test technology roadmaps with their capabilities, ensuring timely qualification for ramp-to-volume manufacturing.Jointly develop and refine test outsourcing governance frameworks, fostering shared accountability, efficiency, and quality standards.Build trusted, long-term relationships with OSAT partners, serving as a key liaison between internal engineering teams and external subcontractor organizations.Collaborate closely with Procurement, Development, and Engineering teams across the full project lifecycle:
Partner with Procurement during early project stages to assess feasibility, evaluate supplier capabilities, and support cost and resource planning decisionsWork hand-in-hand with the Development team throughout project execution, providing test engineering input and ensuring alignment on technical requirements and timelinesEngage continuously with OSAT Engineering to address sustaining activities, resolve production issues, and drive corrective actions to maintain test stability and product quality in high-volume manufacturing DInfrastructure &
