KPMG in Caricom is seeking to hire a dynamic, results-oriented and highly motivated Tax Assistant Manager. The successful candidates will supports the delivery of high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a portfolio of local, regional, and multinational clients of KPMG. The role requires strong technical knowledge of tax legislation, attention to detail,



and the ability to manage multiple client engagements while supporting Managers and Directors in the execution of complex tax assignments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage day-to-day execution of tax compliance and advisory engagements for a portfolio of clients across multiple industry sectors.
- Prepare and review corporation tax returns, tax computations, deferred tax calculations, VAT returns, withholding tax filings, and other statutory tax submissions.
- Assist with the preparation and review of technical tax opinions, advisory memoranda, and client correspondence.
- Research domestic, regional, and international tax legislation and provide practical recommendations on tax matters.
- Support advisory engagements involving corporate restructurings, business acquisitions, tax planning initiatives, transfer pricing matters, and cross-border transactions.
- Liaise with the Board of Inland Revenue (BIR) and other tax auth
