About the role

Step into a pivotal role within Swiss Re's Digital Workplace team, where you will be at the forefront of continued workplace transformation. As a Lead Workplace Engineer, you will co-lead the strategy, adoption, and delivery of intelligent Digital Workplace capabilities — with a spotlight on Microsoft 365, Workplace AI assistants, agents and automation. Your work will directly shape the modern, best-in-class digital experience for our integral workforce, driving measurable business value while ensuring services are delivered in line with security, compliance, regulatory, and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Drive platform evolution by identifying, evaluating, and deploying new Microsoft 365 and AI-augmented capabilities, processes, and solutions aligned with business requirements

Lead design and implementation of Microsoft 365 capabilities, as well as security, governance and compliance controls, translating internal risk policies into technical measures and operating procedures

Deliver transformational initiatives and solutions, such as platform modernisation, migration activities and similar, turning technology into measurable business value

Monitor and respond to fast-paced developments in the Digital Workplace space, maintaining active engagement with vendors and internal stakeholders

Hands-on implementation with Microsoft 365, Azure workloads and modern scripting and development platforms

Leverage data platforms such as MS Power Platform and Palantir Foundry to drive data-informed workplace decisions and visualisations

Continuously upskill, improve controls and procedures, and actively share knowledge across teams to foster a culture of learning and innovation
