A Madrid-based financial technology firm is currently undergoing a significant restructuring of its operational reporting and internal data flow. As an Intern - Data Analyst, you will assist our consulting team in processing raw organizational data to identify where reporting lines and decision paths have become cluttered. This fully remote position offers the chance to apply analytical thinking to real-world business problems within a firm that is scaling its operations across Europe. You will work closely with our consultants to ensure that the data we present to the client is accurate, clear, and leads to actionable conclusions.

What You Will Do
Clean and organize internal datasets related to employee performance and operational efficiency to ensure high data quality.




Help document current reporting structures and identify overlaps in accountability across different departments.
Create clear visualizations that represent organizational friction within the client current data environment.
Assist in the preparation of written reports that summarize findings for our senior consultants and client stakeholders.
Conduct research on industry benchmarks for data governance and decision rights to provide context for our analysis.
Verify the accuracy of data inputs across multiple spreadsheets and internal tools to maintain the integrity of our conclusions.
Support the team in building simple models to predict the impact of proposed structural changes on the client's operations.
Participate in internal team calls to discuss data observations and refine analytical approaches based on project needs.
