We are looking for a Services Project Engineer

Our client, a leading engineering company for the transport and maritime sector is looking for a Services Projetc Engineer.

You will be responsible for the successful realization of services projects at Passenger Terminals in Ports and Airports around the world in accordance with the requirements of safety (personal safety and risks), environment, functionality, quality, timing, cost and legal obligations.

As the technical environment is very complex and multi-disciplinary, you will work in a context where creativity and continuous learning is required since the projects abroad are challenging and always have aspects that are new.

The Services Project Engineer, who fluently dominates English and Spanish language, secures all tasks of successful customer relationship. The Project Engineer should therefore manage, encourage and mobilize thanks to his/her dynamism, involvement and pro-activity. The attitude displayed by the Services Project Engineer is essential to the customer relationship, so he/she must possess a good relationship building quality coupled with a commercial feeling.

Responsibilities

- The execution of services projects according to the latest procedures and specifications, covering all phases from the initial launch to timings, quality, cost and final service at client locations.

- The follow up and forecast of budgets.

- The application of more complex technology incl. knowledge of codes and legal requirements.

- The coordination of external engineering companies, to realize successful projects.

- The ordering of all material, needing technical specification, together with the Purchasing department.





- The pro-active communication with all departments to assure a smooth integration of the service

You

- You have at least fluent Spanish and English communication competencies. The capacity to speak more languages is a pro (especially French)

- You have successfully studied different engineering disciplines

- You have a hands-on attitude, a technical feeling and critical attitude with at least 3 years’ experience in a technical project environment (project engineer). Project field experience is a must

- You are pro-active, committed, organisational, responsible and flexible and have the capacity to work in a team.

- You have knowledge of MS Office tools, like Word, Excel and Project and basic knowledge of AutoCad

- You are willing to travel at least 50% of your working hours

- You have a driver’s license.
