An IPP is looking for a senior business development professional to support the company's growth strategy across existing and selected new European markets.

The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, assessing and advancing growth opportunities in the renewable energy sector, with a particular focus on developing market-entry strategies, building investment theses, originating opportunities and establishing strategic relationships with local stakeholders.

This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, market knowledge and strong relationship-building capabilities. The adecuado candidate will have a deep understanding of renewable energy markets and be comfortable evaluating opportunities, challenging assumptions and presenting recommendations to senior management.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess growth opportunities across existing and selected new European markets.
- Develop and defend investment and market-entry theses based on regulatory, commercial, competitive and development considerations.
- Monitor market dynamics,



regulatory developments and industry trends to identify attractive opportunities and emerging markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, utilities, advisors, investors and other relevant industry stakeholders.
- Originate opportunities through local networks and strategic partnerships.
- Evaluate renewable energy opportunities across solar PV, wind and BESS technologies.
- Coordinate internal assessments with technical, legal, regulatory and financial teams.
- Prepare business cases, market assessments and strategic recommendations for senior management.
- Support negotiations with developers and partners to advance identified opportunities.
- Contribute to the company's geographic expansion strategy and long-term growth plans.
- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and market intelligence across target geographies.
