In this role you drive the strategic development and profitable growth of Chubb's Life Science practice across CEMENA. You will lead regional underwriting strategy, build market presence, and translate global capabilities into locally relevant solutions. You work with underwriting, distribution partners, and integral practice leads to shape the underwriting agenda and guide cross‑jurisdictional delivery. You will combine deep underwriting expertise with strong commercial acumen to engage clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders, delivering impactful, technically sound outcomes.

• Define and execute the Life Science underwriting strategy for CEMENA aligned with global practice directions
• Manage and optimize the regional Life Science portfolio for growth, retention, and profitability
• Monitor portfolio performance through loss analysis, pricing reviews, and data-driven insights; propose corrective actions
• Set underwriting standards and documentation practices compliant with policies and regulatory requirements
• Identify and develop new Life Science opportunities with brokers, agents, partners, and direct clients
• Build trusted relationships with key decision makers and buyers in the Life Science sector
• Lead complex account negotiations and coverage design discussions for tailored, profitable solutions
• Represent Chubb as a thought leader through client engagements, events, and industry dialogue
• Apply underwriting expertise to assess, price, and structure Life Science risks with rigour and alignment to risk appetite
• Ensure consistency and quality of regional underwriting; mentor colleagues and promote best practices
• Stay current on Life Science industry trends, regulatory developments, and market pricing across CEMENA markets
• Collaborate within Chubb's matrix organization with country leaders, product heads, claims, legal, and global teams
• Communicate complex underwriting information clearly to divers
